I bought a Sony Xperia Go on contract with MTN. On the day of collection, the sales lady explained the conditions where I can return the phone within 7 days should the phone prove to be faulty. As advertised, the Sony Xperia Go is water resistance (advertisement stated that the phone is able to go into a glass filled with 10 cm of water), when I returned the phone the next day after testing the phone in more or less 7 cm of water, the technician who worked at the shop stated that they can not provide me with a new phone. The reason which was given to me was that the phone had water damage (which indicates false advertisement.) It has been 6 months now and I still have not yet received a new phone. I am still paying of on the contract for a broken phone. I got a phone call from them that my phone is ready for collection, when I went to collect my phone I actually found out they are on their way to sell my phone without even letting me know! The service at this MTN is very poor. I regret ever thinking MTN could satisfy my customer needs.
