DISAPPOINTING SERVICE

I am an existing Vodacom client of approximately 5 years with 3 existing cell phone contracts. I went into a local branch of Vodacom on 12 April to apply for a new contract. I did not receive the promised call for collection of the phone within the promised time and I contacted the branch-Musgrave Centre Vodacom4u only to be told that the phone was out of stock. I asked the consultant to cancel my order and I contacted the Customer Care Centre on 18 April to place the order & I was put through to Nohlanhla (in sales) who took down my order. It is now 18 days later - I have contacted the Vodacom Customer Care Centre on 25 April and again on 3 May and repeated promises that the phone will be delivered within a few days, has not materialised. On Friday, I was told that the phone will be delivered by Monday, 6 May @ the latest. Still no phone. I followed up again today telephonically and via an online chat and I was informed that a sales manager will call me back -I am still waiting for the call &/or phone. Vodacom's Customer Care Service is pathetic-it is impossible to hear or be heard by the consultants over the noise of the call centre with the consultants trying to talk over each
