Unhelpfull in bad circumstances

My grandfather passed away in January, and my grandmother now gets his pension money. She had tried to put the contract in her name but they keep sending her from place to place. She can't drive thus relies on us to help her monthly (she stays in the North West). Every month she has been paying the vodacom account by direct deposit. Seeing as my grandfathers account is frozen. She eventually had all the documentation ready as they told her, but now all of the sudden they say instead of paying the normal R144 she has to pay R244 now because its not on debit order anymore. This is! She doesn't have extra money to do this. What is this for?? Can someone please just help us in sorting all of this out once and for all??
