From 7 Days to 21 Days with NO Communication

After a firmware update taking 16 hours, and not being resolved, I booked my Nokia Lumia 920 phone in to the Sandton Vodacom Repairs Centre, and was told that the phone would be ready in 7 days. After calling them today (7 days later), I learnt that the phone went to the advanced repairs centre, and then the Nokia Manufacturer. After calling them to hear where the phone was, I was informed that the technicians at Vodacom had an issue with installing the software, and it seems that it is a manufacturer fault, again, no communication and 7 days without a phone. I now have to wait another 14 days for the phone. I enquired about using my Vodacom insurance to replace the phone since it went from being an software issue to a hardware issue, again, NO COMMUNICATION IN THE PROCESS!!! Apparently it doesn't work like that, its a manufacturer fault, what am I paying insurance for! The mere fact remains that they are quick to bill me R4, 500 for data with no breakdown, when Cell C is charging 15c a meg, even out of bundle, and they get to charge R2.50 but they are not willing to assist. I hope this gets resolved, cause I will take my 4 Vodacom contracts to Cell C. E-mail me I dont have a phone
