We took out a contract with Virgin Active in November last year
After having problems because of a sales rep who made false promises and which was eventually partially sorted out
Still a few issues remaining for Virgin Active to sort out
The issue today is more of a serious one which could have very serious consequences for anyone TRUSTING virgin active to deduct the premiums on the correct date
Last December my premium for my wife and I was deducted one day EARLIER than arranged
31st December instead on 1st of January or because public holiday 2nd January
This problem to be honest does not only apply to virgin active but to MANY OTHER debit Order deductors as well when the due date falls on a Sunday or public holiday
People have money coming in on certain days and plan their budgets accordingly
When money is deducted before due date it could very well result in that and or other debit orders been bounced for insufficient funds in the bank at that date
The account holder is left footing the RD charges as well as any other charges levied by the other affected debtors when their debit orders bounce
It's a stuff you attitude by the offending debito
