I am utterly disappointed and surprised at the service I have received from Planet Fitness Bedfordview. I had joined the gym last year and was excited to finally experience what Planet Fitness had to offer. I paid R1950 joining fee plus a R295 monthly debit order. A few months into it I realised I had been debited twice an amount exceeding R500 per month. This was clearly not what I signed up for.
I then immediately contacted the gym and to my surprise, the consultant (name I can't recall) had loaded my banking details onto another member as well. To add to this, apparently none of my payments made were recorded against my name which means I was in "arrears" and effectively blocked from accessing the gym!!
To this date (6 months later), this issue has still not been resolved - I am still unable to access the gym and keep being told I have "amounts" that need to be settled which I had done when this issue started.
I have been dealing with the account manager Leeann Govender but she has failed to rectify this issue. I even requested a call with her manager with no response.
This reflects poor service and slow response time to solving queries. Anyone else experience such a thing?
