I recently attended the virgin active with 2 girls that i was looking after. Knowing they don't allow visitors into the gym easily, I got a letter signed by their mom giving permission to attend the gym with me as visitors.
The above 2 "managers" REFUSED to let me in.
On a previous visit the letters sufficed. Now they have a "new" policy and the parents have to sign a disclaimer. I do not see the disclaimer on the website or any signage showing this "policy".
Their mom is ill at home and about to face a serious neck operation and thus the reason for me caring for them.
I am also their legal guardian. The manager said I would need a court order if `i wanted to take them in as visitors as their legal guardian.
There are really no people skills shown by the above 2 managers. The children were not going to excerise, they were going to sit next to me and watch my son swim in his lesson. They would not have left my care at any time.
I really leave here today with a very bitter taste in my mouth.
