Upon exiting virgin Active we accidentally gave the security guard the gym membership card instead of the parking card. We realised almost immediately but by the time we had turned around the security guard informed us that he must have given our card to another motorist. He would look out for it and take it to reception. This never happened. On my next gym visit I tried to explain to Zanele what happened but she was very offish and wasn't prepared to listen or help. She merely told me to pay R60. I refused because of her attitude. The next time I came Pretty was on duty, I explained the story to her and she said she would speak to her manager to see if they could give me another card. On Sunday afternoon I got a call on my cell from Pretty. She had walked up to the security hut and had found my card there. Not only did she remember my request and her promise, she also made the effort to look for my card and still took the time to phone me. She is a star and exactly like her name - PRETTY! People working with clients need to have a good, cheerful disposition.
