Unsafe Parking at the Virgin Active Gyms

I was a victim of a smash and grab Monday morning (08/04/2013) at around 07h50.
Upon leaving the Bel airs Virgin Active Gym I noticed glass all over the floor on the right side of my car.
The right rear passenger window was smashed in and all of my belongings were.
I called the car guard over ask where he had been when it happened and he said he didn't see anything, even though the alarm went off as well.
He called the RSS security guard. He said that he had heard a noise thus walked over to my car but saw nothing.
At 10h00 a lady from the Randburg branch contacted me and asked me to meet her as she had my driver's license and some of my cards from my purse. I rushed over to the gym and she explained that the criminal had broken into 2 vehicles there and had items from those members as well. Apparently the culprit steals items at one gym, makes his way to the next gym, throws out useless items, breaks into the next vehicle and moves on.
The damage is over R6000, 00, never mind the psychological damage. Members cars have been broken into at the Comaro Virgin Active as well as the Meyersdal Virgin Active.
This is completely unacceptable!
