I went through an ordeal with planet fitness trying to get back the money I had paid for a service they could not render. In April / May I had a detailed conversation with the Manager Garth and a Lady Jane from the head office regarding my separation. I was assured that a Mail then would ensure that they would cancel my contract.
Its been three months since I left the country in May. My one year contract ends officially with July. And my account is still being debited. I have not got any notice regarding the closure of my account or why money is still being debited from my account. Mails to Garth and Jane are not being answered.
I am afraid my account is going to go into negative balance. And I no longer receive the statement mail I used to get every month. I have heard of planet fitness giving issues with people who leave. I am outside the country and my other commitments are in big issue because of this.
