I cancelled my account with Planet Fitness on 23 August 2013. I was told that this was my month's notice, and that my last payment would be for September. In October, however, my account was debited. I queried this, and got no reply to any e-mails sent. I am overseas, and thus cannot call. I have tried repeatedly to go through the correct appeal channels, to no avail. I was then debited for November. This means that Planet Fitness has in effect from me R994. I have had nothing but shocking service from Planet Fitness in the past so this should not surprise me.
