I cancelled my contract at Planet Fitness on the 24th of June, giving one month's notice. The last payment should have gone through on the 1st of July with the contract ending on the 31st of July. They debited me on the 1st of August, which I got the bank to return. They have now debited me again (30th of August). I keep writing to the manager at Rivonia, where I sent my notice to originally (I got a read receipt for my email plus I spoke to him and he confirmed he had received the cancellation request and all was in order). I also receive sms's telling me my account is in arrears. There doesn't seem to be a head office number I can phone for them. All very irritating and frustrating.
