I had a 3 year contract with Planet Fitness in Rivonia, for work reasons I had to move to Newcastle where there is no gym. I contacted them to ask if that was a good enough reason to cancel my contract and I was told that that is not a good enough reason. So I paid my entire 3 year contract out.
At the end of 3 years I sent them a letter to cancel my contract so as not to be put on a month-to-month. All was fine and no money was being debited from my account.
As from a few months ago, I noticed R7.00 being debited from my account monthly. Due to lack of time I did not query. Now in December I had an unauthorized debit of R245 go off from my account from Planet Fitness. For what? I have no affiliation with your gym. Please stop from me.
I contacted the Rivonia gym but the lady could not give me a straight answer when I asked. Eventually she said its a renewal fee for my contract which ended in 2012. Seriously?
I recently stopped working and am unemployed. Please stop from me Planet Fitness!
