CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPLAINT

I am writing this letter to you as a very disgruntled customer of your gym.

Almost every experience we, as a family had with your gym, since we joined was anything but pleasant.

I have taken this matter up with Happy - the initial sales consultant who assisted us on Sunday, 11 August 2013. On this day, Happy was very eager to sell the membership to us, at an "all inclusive, never to be repeated" offer of R 49.00 per person. This amount supposedly including the joining and card fees, per adult member. My husband and myself immediately signed up, handing Happy R 100.00 in cash, (petty as it may be, he never gave us any change). The payment of the R 49.00 fee awarded at access to the gym for the remainder of August 2013, and no pro rata fees is added to our accounts.

Happy encouraged us to sign up for Liberty's Own your life rewards, which would, at a once off cost of R 385 per member, reduce our monthly fees to R 87.60 per member. Happy confirmed that once our Own your life reward membership is active, we will pay the R385 per member directly to VA and then VA will liaise with Liberty to ensure our contracts are updated to the R 87.60 premium and the instalments of R 399.00
