Hi Peter. For the past 3 months I have been struggling to get my son contract at Zone Fitness sorted. My 1st attempt failed, the 2nd attempt instructed me to go into the Rondebosch branch and do a change of bank details and now I find out the 3rd attempt has failed too. As a consumer I have made every attempt to inform Zone Fitness that my clients do not pay me as a contractor on time therefore the debit order run doesn't suit me. I was told that if I go into the branch and change the bank details when the debit order went thru on 20 June it would go thru on the new bank details. I decided to do a courtesy call today and to my horror found out that this promise made by the Sales Consultant on the 11 June was not honoured and now get told that the admin lady at Head Office hadn't done the change yet I was assured by the Sales Consultant at Rondebosch that he would be loading this new instruction? So who was supposed to do the change? I really thought the CPA Act was there to protect us against such gross negligence and abuse by incompetent people who are nonchalant in attitude. I am still waiting for Rondebosch to respond which is more than an hour ago that I called both them & H.O.
