After breaking the heel on my boots, I took them to Levingers in Cresta. I was worried that they could not fix it, so I asked, and after being reassured that the problem could be fixed, I was told to return that afternoon. Upon my return, the man who said he could fix my shoe shouted at Karen, saying that it was not his job. I then agreed to return the next week to fetch my shoe once the cobbler could fix it. I received my shoe back with a bad glue job. I could feel that it was not at all fixed. I phoned Karen to complain. She told me to bring the shoe back, but as I live in the East Rand, I was not able to get to Cresta. I then asked if I could take it to a chain store. After the wonderful service and good workmanship performed by Joseph at Levingers in Bedford Village, I then phoned Karen to arrange for my refund. After a massive argument between Karen and the cobbler (a lady), while I had to listen on hold, I was refused a refund and told to bring something else in to fix/dry clean. If Karen thinks I'm going to bring anything back into that shop, she is gravely mistaken. I have never come across such bad attitude and shoddy workmanship and I don't recommend to anyone!
