Today was the very last straw at Edgars Alberton. There service is always poor but today the staff took it to a whole new level.
Anybody you speak to in that store barely acknowledges your presence. After waiting in the line today and finally getting to the front to be assisted the lady behind the till just left. When I asked where she was going she said another lady would help me. This lady stood and had a conversation with another employee for 15 minutes while I continued to wait. Eventually I went in search of the manager.
I asked to speak to the manager at customer services to which the person just shouted to another colleague get Esther (I can only assume that is the managers name as this lady then walked away.
After waiting for a further 10 minutes I left the store.
This is the 3rd time in the last two week I have left this store without completing my purchases due to their lack of service.
I manage a store in the centre as well and I have to say if I ran my business like that I would be embarrassed.
