I went to the MAC Cosmetics counter looking for some mascara advice. There was only 1 staff member available to assist. I was with my boyfriend and we patiently left the staff member to assist the other customers who were there before us as well as some people who were waiting to pay for their items. His manager came to the till as well and once he had finished with the customers, they decided to start a conversation regarding the reasons for his colleague not being at work. My boyfriend and I as well as another customer, kept looking on waiting for help. He however continued with his conversation until my boyfriend interrupted them, asking if they could continue their conversation at another time due to there being customers waiting for help. The staff member then had the nerve to say that he would help me only after helping the other lady as she was there before us - which was incorrect! - the lady confirmed it for him too. My boyfriend completely lost it and we left very annoyed, angry and without what I needed. The manager who seemed to be Edgars employed, also encouraged the conversation knowing we were waiting for assistance which I find unacceptable!
