Bad Attitudes with awful service
I visited the vangate mall branch of edgars today, and within 15 minutes had my purchases. i then proceeded to spend over an hour trying to pay for them. After more than 20 minutes in the queue, we finally reached the till point. i made a purchase on my account, but when i wanted to make an additional purchase using a gift card, the cashier was unable to process it. He called a manager, Anna, and they talked about how that terminal was problematic, at no point was an apology for the inconvenience uttered by either party. she then left and he kept trying to process, after 20 minutes of this I asked for him to try at a different till. He asked his colleague Yonela to assist but she had the same problem, and still no one says sorry. Once it was 45 minutes I asked her to call a manager as this is UNACCEPTABLE, and there was no aircon working in the store. She ignored this request and called a new client, without once saying anything to me. Thenthe guy who initially assisted me called the manager again and i had to go to the acc service area, so she could authorise a manual entry but when i got there she was on the phone and I had to wait another 10 minutes. evetually i just left.
