On Wednesday 13 February I went into Edgars Bayside to report on my account. Certified copies of my ID as well as the affidavit were supplied as per request. The gentleman who helped me in the store was very helpful but to date I have not had any feedback on the progress of the investigation from your department. During December a duplicate card was issued on my account by one of your Johannesburg stores and within 1 day my zero balance was replaced with purchases of over R7500.00 . I was only made aware of this when your accounts department called me to confirm when I would make a payment. I have now done all you asked of me and demand this matter be resolved. I had a zero balance, therefore I will not be making any kind of payment and will be closing this account as soon as the query has been resolved.
