On the 23rd Febuary 2013 I made a purchase at Woolworths Mall@Carnival. I gave the cashier my debit card to swipe and she swiped it and I entered my pin. She then said the purchase hadn't gone through and we had to swipe again. I told her I had gotten sms notification that the money had gone off my bank account but she insisted on swiping again. The next day I went and got my bank statement and it showed the amount really had went off twice at Woolworths. I took that statement to Woolworths and Ruth even called my bank's head office to verify the statement and they confirmed that Woolworths had taken the amount TWICE. Even with that confirmation Ruth REFUSED to give me my money back and had such a condesending attitude! I loved Woolies before this incident. Now I never want to hear the word Woolies ever again.
