Paid account now they owe me

On the 5h of June 2013 . My friend paid money in ABSA bank in Durban as a gift card for me to use so they got the money on the 5th. On the 6th June 2013 I went to woolworths in the East rand mall and it showed R8800.93 on my statement as a balance but not reflecting on my card so I asked them what happend. And they said they took of the money I owe them that is R1199.07 from the R10 000 that was paid in the bank acount. So I phoned head office they told me they owe me the R8800.93. So they told me I can buy from any woolworths branch. So I took some few things that I need and when it came to swipping the card it got declined. The people at woolies said they will let me know when it is sorted out so on the 7th June I went back same thing happend and again had to speak to head office they told me it is pending. So staff member said they will let us know when it is fix so we went home again. The 8th June went back and the same thing happend so I spoke again to head office they said no there is something wrong. So I got so angry that I wanted to swear everybody. So yes still waiting and know when it will be fixed. The q is if they deducted the money from the R10 000 why can't I get
