ON THE 3 JANUARY 2013 AN AMOUNT OF R3000 WAS TAKEN OUT FROM MY CAPITEC BANK ACCOUNT. I AM TOTALLY UNAWARE OF EVER PURCHASING AT WOOLWORTHS EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE FOR THAT AMOUNT. I DO HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH WOOLWORTHS SO I HAVE NEVER EVER PURCHASED FOR CASH. I BECAME AWARE OF THIS TRANSACTION ONLY WHEN I REQUESTED A BANK STATEMENT AS I WAS QUERYING MY DEBIT ORDERS FROM OLD MUTUAL. IPREVIOUSLY I DID NOT REGISTER FOR SMS FACILITY BUT AFTER THIS HAPPENED I NOW GET SMS. I HAVE SINCE SPETEMBER BEEN BACK AN FORTH TO WOOLWORTHS IN PAVILLION BUT THEY FAILED TO GIVE ME ANY PROOF OF THEIS TRANACTION STATING THAT THE AMOUNT OR TRANSACTION COULD NOT BE FOUND ON THEIR RECORDS. I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THIS AS IT CLEARLY SHOWS ON MY BANK STATEMENT THE AMOUNT OF R3000 TAKEN BY WOOLWORTHS. AS I DO NOT RECALL THIS PURCHASE WOOLWORTHS ARE LIABLE IN MY OPINION TO PROVIDE ME WITH DETAILS OF THIS TRANSACTION I HAVE SEVERAL REFERENCE NUMBERS FROM THEM STATING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH THEIR RECORDS BUT ARE UNABLE TO TRACE THIS TRANSACTION. IN MY OPINION SINCE THEY CANNOT TRACE THIS TRANSACTION THEY ARE OBLIGED TO REFUND MY MONEY AS THIS QUITE A LARGE AMOUNT SITTING IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNT WITH NO PROOF
