I am appalled and insulted by what this company has turned into. I made a comment here regarding the poor delivery service a while ago and I thought I'd give Takealot a chance again after they phoned me and responded to the matter in a very professional manner.
This weekend I browsed their website and decided on purchasing some PC games and peripherals. The total in my cart was R261-00.(Binary Domain R99/Dark Void R49/Deep Cool R14/RE: Op. Raccon R99) It was late last night and I thought I would continue today after work and place my order.
Guess what, I just logged on to my account and my total for the above mentioned products ARE: R635!!!
Overnight they changed the total from R261 to R635!!! Dark void-from R49 to R406! Binary from R99 to R116!
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE NOTICED THIS CONDUCT! The moment you leave items in your cart they change the price, probably trying to milk you for more money. The first time I let it slide, but NOW I have taken screenshots of this and I will be posting this on social websites to warn people about this site's unethical business conduct as it clearly seems to me that they think we are STUPID not to notice this sneakiness.
