i contacted Takealot on 27th June with a complaint that a stock item (XBOX 360 Console Star Wars Edition) @ R2999 that was in my cart on the weekend had been removed from my cart when i tried to order it. I then searched the website to see the product still available and now marked @ R4313. i contacted takealot and Sumaya assisted promptly and her service was great in response to me. They adjusted the price to R2999.99 as marked due to an error on their system and i then added the product back into my cart. When i tried to checkout the item - i got an out of stock error. I then contact Sumaya who had advised that the product was bought by someone else in that period. this was my stock item that i had arranged to be reduced to this price.
Bonnie and Sumaya have since tried to source this product but as its a limited edition none can be found. How can my order/stock be sold to someone else at the price i arranged with TakeAlot - please advise as the feedback on alternate options for the same price are not limited editions. Please can takealot do something about this - i have been a loyal customer since 2003!
