This is my first bad experience with TAKEALOT in all the years I've used them, I've always been a happy customer. I was trying to buy a set of headphones, but the "Add to cart" button seemed bugged. I clicked it and it showed "Awesome: Item added to your cart", however the item did not appear in my cart no matter how many times I clicked it. I contacted support via email on Dec 13 06:37, and at 14:39 a Ntombi Zilwa replied, in very poor English, that the item was out of stock. I replied at 13:12 asking why it has an "Add to cart" button when other out of stock items do not have this button. I also asked if he knew when it will be back in stock. I have not yet received a response. I am quite unhappy with TAKEALOT at this moment. They have been my favourite online retailer for many years and have always had the best service from them, and am quite unimpressed by the support agent's incompetence and lack of response, and that they have not explicitly marked the item as out of stock. Please do not employ support agents who cannot communicate in proper English. This really drags your name through the mud.
