Durbell Pharmacies
Where does the right to privacy begin and end?

I support Durbell Pharmacy as they deliver my inhaler promptly whenever I renew the prescription, and because they stock Ahava skin products.
Unfortunately buying Ahava from this Pharmacy has become a pain. It seems the lady in charge of the products, Jeanette, has the cashiers at the Pharmacy demand my personal info (name and tel.no) whenever I purchase the brand. They could care less about any other product I buy with it. When I refuse, or tell them Jeanette already has my details (which she has), they simply demand it AGAIN. They don't ask me, they simply say: "Your name and tel.no. please".
Any refusal is met with a hostile stare from the cashier, as if a crime is being committed. It's only after the second refusal that the cashier would give me the slip for my purchases. And any one else waiting in the queue simply has to patiently wait for this "conversation" to end.
Either the owner (s) are not aware of this, or supports it, I don't know. But I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't report it to the Consumer Council.
I and every other consumer have the right to privacy when buying retail products. And this Pharmacy should respect it.
