A Clicks store and Clicks Pharmacy recently opened at the Paddocks Shopping Centre in Royal Ascot, Milnerton, Cape Town.
It has only been about a month since the Clicks store and pharmacy has opened and on 3 different occasions I have tried to fill a prescription at the Clicks Pharmacy but have been turned away due to the items not being in stock. One of the items was for a repeat prescription of chronic medication for blood pressure tablets. I would've thought that at the time, the pharmacist would've used his/her initiative and been pro-active enough to order the said medication so that the next time we needed to fill the repeat prescription there would've been stock, but no, when we tried again a month later, still no stock. Today I tried to fill a prescription for nose drops for my 6 month old baby and again, no stock of said item.
I am really disappointed in Clicks. Such a big group with huge spending power and yet, their pharmacies can't even stock basic medication? This particular pharmacy, is the only one in the area, besides the one in the Mediclinic hospital nearby, so they get a lot of business from the area.
