I bought a blue striped pure cotton shirt from the Sandton store. After trying on the shirt and asking the lady to please package size 16 and 1/2 instead she packaged size 17, which is too big. I have been back to the Sandton store and the Eastgate (twice) and Greenstone (twice) stores, to receive no adequate assistance. First I was told that the shirt is sold out. I do not understand how the mistake made by Woolworths is now my problem. Both personnel from Greenstone and Eastgate took down my details and promised to get back to me, which I am still waiting and expecting no response. This customer service is appaling! The Greenstone branch said they would take 3 days to make a call to try get the shirt and then get back to me. PICK UP A PHONE AND MAKE A CALL. How does that take 3 days? If you tell a customer you will get back to them, GET BACK TO THEM.
