In an attempt to reduce the time spent grocery shopping I decided to start making use of Pick n Pay's online service. I have now made use of the service twice and both times have been astonished by the number of items ordered and not supplied. What is more surprising is that the items are not exotic but run of the mill PnP products which I know are readily available at my local store. Today the items not supplied included PnP baby wipes, PnP chickpeas, PnP canned fruit, rooibos tea bags, dishwasher tablets, Dairybelle yogurts and apples and grapes. When 13 of the 81 items ordered are out of stock, this has to be a huge thumbs down! No point in making use of the service if I need to go into a shop to collect the items which were not supplied but still required.
