I bought a shirt at Woolworths Gezina Pretoria this morning. I tried on two different sizes of the exact same shirt. I then discovered that the size small was more expensive than the size medium and queried this. The assistant scanned all four sizes of this shirt and found that the size small and size extra large were more expensive at R250 than the size medium and large which are R225 each. I queried whether it was perhaps new stock which had been marked up, but was informed that it was not new stock, the small and extra large are simply more expensive than the medium and large. I mentioned that this didn't seem right or make sense and the assistance behind the till literally shrugged her shoulders and said that that is just how it is. Well, done Woolworths for the great customer service! Way to make your customers want to hurry back to shop with you again...
