On Saturday, 18 January, 2014, I went to buy a shirt at named store. The store had only one shirt of the size I wanted in store. One of the buttons on the shirt was broken. I asked the attendant for a discount on the shirt, and even suggested that I would buy another shirt (different colour) if they would give me discount on the damaged shirt. They refused and told me to sew the extra button on the shirt myself. It is totally unacceptable for a clothing store to display and sell damaged goods as new to customers, and then not even offer a discount on request. I will still stand by my own offer to buy another shirt if the supplier responds and refund the damaged shirt for cost price.
