Manager's attidude

3 weeks ago I was shopping in the Tokai branch with another customer but using the same trolley. Both of us purchased the 6 pack of PnP longlife milk, which was priced at around R43 according to the barcode shelf label in the aisle, and the product scanned at around R49 at the till. I then pointed out the Scan Right policy and said that I was entitled to get the product for free. I was referred to the manager, Raheem if I recall correctly, and he said that only one of me and the other customer I shared the trolley with was entitled to the free product, and that the other one would get the R6 difference back. I told Raheem that by the logic of the Scan Right policy, "At the time of purchase" both of the products had different prices on the shelf label and till, and therefore both should be free since we were different customers. He disagreed, and then gave the other customer his R49 back i.e. he got it for free, and only gave me the R6 difference. After I once again told him his own company's policy, he had the audacity to turn his back on me, a complaining customer, turned around again to tell me that I should report him to Customer Services, and walked away.
