BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR P'nP MISTAKES

Webber Road, Lambton, Germiston: I go and buy dogfood - price R87-49 or R87-99 and get to the till and they scan and the price is R99.99.I went with the teller to fetch the barcoded price.barcode is different and price registers the cheaper one. So, I ask them if they are going to keep to their policy of "Scan Right" and give me a bag of dogfood, only to be told that their policy has very recently changed but they cannot tell me when and their are no notices saying this. I then told them that if they cannot uphold their policies, then I will not be shopping in their store.they were very upset. Then I went to the bottom of the same Road to the Hazel Park, Lambton. Same story at the till except here the barcodes are the same but scan different prices on the bag and the label. The manager tells me that they just installed a new scanner system and he was not cancelling his special even though he knows that there are big problems. He says they stopped the "Scan Rights" policy on the 1st September and haven't had time to put notices up. Then he tells me that my principals are different and I just want a free bag-oh my word! I WILL NOT EVER BUY AT PnP again! Sick of no Ethics/Principals etc
