Pick 'n Pay
Omission of Information re Scan Right Policy

My husband went to purchase a few items at this store due to it being our sons Birthday. My son chose the car set priced @ R150, when they arrived at the till this item scanned R290
He fetched the label & showed the cashier, upon which she advised that customers should not remove labels to which he replied: if he had to wait for her to get someone to go & find the shelf it could take a while, besides it should have been priced correctly in the 1st place. The cashier then called the Manager (White Gentleman), who then informed her to give the product @ R150, my husband then noticed the Scan Right Policy which states that it should be free due to the prices differentiation. She called this manager, who inserted his password & walked away. So I ask myself? Why did he not go according to the PNP Scan Right Policy in the 1st place? Is this policy only reserved for people of a certain calibre? Was he thinking of Saving Pick n Pay Some Money on someone's expence? He did not apologize, nothing! I absolutely loath this Pick n Pay, as it is not the 1st time we encounter a issue like this. Last Time Your Manager did not want to exchange a pants with Slip as he said it was pass the due date LOL
