I bought a few items on Satruday and used my card and was charges R175.25. The lady then took my card again without saying anything and I asked what she is doing and she said it did not go through I then showed her my message on my phone showing that it did go through. She called another lady and the lady said it was a technical error and they needed to swipe my card again and I will get refunded, this made no sense so I asked for a manager, a young man then came and said the same story, I asked when I would be refunded and he said within a day, this seemed unreal to me so I questionned it and was told this happens alot and the customer always gets refunded and if the refund did not go through within a day I can just go with my slip and they would refund me, they said they could not give me the money from the till because the till would then be short even though it was my money! so I reluctantly let them swipe the same amount again. It is now Monday and I have not been refunded, I called and was told that I must now supply a bank statment. This is pathetic customer service, why must I go to the bank now to get my money. I want this money back!!!
