Lazy staff claim no stock of car seat
I called Toys R Us after seeing the Chelino leather racer car seat in the magazines. The ad claims that TRU are the exclusive stockists. The lady in the TRU department told me they don't have stock and she'll call me back. She never called me back, I had to call the store back after a day of waiting. Again, she claims they don't have stock, cannot order them and that the fabric version sells for R2000. I decided to order from Chelino direct, and they sent the car seat to a day later for R2100 (including courier fees from Joburg to Cape Town) Imagine my shock and disappointment when my friend finds a leather car Racer car seat at Toys R Us in canal Walk for R1799!! I contacted Chelino and they said its Toys R Us responsibility to order the car seat from them. I wonder then why the Bellville branch never offered me that service? I am livid at having to have ordered the item specially myself and having had to have paid courier fees when the branch could have ordered the item for me. Poor customer service and a lazy staff member no doubt. What does Toy R Us have to say?
