29 November 2013 we purchased a Stramm Generator 2.5KW that was on special at Game. BIG MISTAKE. The generator blew my flat screen 3D TV and my computer's power supply. I took the generator back to Game and informed them of what had happened. The start of my frustration! The manager took the generator an import to be checked and contacted the buyer in DBN. Needless to say the Buyer's response is that the I should have read the instruction manual which states that you should not use the generator to run your TV. Well maybe the Buyer should take his own advice and read the manual himself as it clearly states you can use it for your TV. I would also advice Game and the Buyer to read up on the new Consumer Protection Law. Game does not want to accept that I have suffered a big financial loss due to me buying a product from them in good faith and is trying to make out as if it is my ignorance that caused the damage. What has happened to the customer is always right and good customer service? Has it become the norm for Game to pass the buck and treat the customer like a criminal? I want my TV replaced and the cost to repair my computer reimbursed and cost of generator refunded!
