We took our Generator for a quote to have it repaired. We received a quote for the repair of the Generator as well as a quote for a "Nuwe Generator", a New Generator. The difference between the 2 quotes was an amount of R445. The logical option to choose would be the New Generator. We were told that they had to order the Generator. Last week we received an email to say that the Generator is ready for collection. We collected the Generator this morning. What we paid for is not a New Generator, it was only the Generator part, no new motor or a new frame. This can't be seen as a New Generator! I did call Kobus but he is adamant that the quote was for the generator part only, not a New Generator as the heading of the email reads.
We would like to warn consumers that they should not believe what the quote reads, make certain that a New Generator is not only the generator part.
