My wife bought me a shirt from Truworths Man in Somerset West Mall for R320. The shirt is marked as a XL but it is so small it doesnt even remotely fit me. I always wear XL shirts. I was told in the store that it is probably the make of the shirt. There should be a notice to inform the client that this kind of a shirt is very small. Note the shirt was NOT market "Slim Fit".
I spoke to Leonie who apparently runs the store to exchange the shirt for a larger shirt but was told that they cant do it because I dont have my slip. I asked to speak to management and she phoned the area manager named Andre. He refused to speak to me over the phone and just told her to tell me they cannot exchange the shirt as i dont have a receipt. This was absolutely shocking!!! I left the shirt in the store and left the store. I cannot believe that a company can treat anybody like this.
