I made a purchase at Edgars in Midlands Mall, Pietermaritzburg, KZN. The purchase was for R499.98 and I used my FNB Cheque Card to pay, of which I was told that the card had declined, but I informed them that the funds have been deducted from my account as I had just received an SMS notification. They insisted the card has declined, of which I then paid cash. They took all my details and said they would contact me. After about 2 weeks, I then went to Edgars in Galleria Mall, Amanzimtoti, KZN to get feedback on the matter, and they told me they would follow up and get back to me, I even sent them my bank statement to show that the funds were deducted from my account. As a result, this means I paid using my card and also paid again with cash. Now the issue is for them to refund me what is due to me. Till today they have not refunded me and they have not given me any feedback either. I have gone to Edgars more than 3 times, but nothing has happened and no one has given me any feedback. They are unprofessional.
