Linked card still not working

1) After my last complaint regarding my wife's linked card, I was asked to go to Edgars and get them to issue a new card. This I did. However, the guy insisted on "fixing" the broken FICA info for my wife's card, but we would only be able to confirm after 48 hours that it was fixed. We did not get an opportunity to test the card until last Sat., 4 May. When we went to pay for our purchases, I asked the Jet cashier to try my wife's card. She swiped it, and it came back immediately with "transaction declined". After completing our transaction with my working card, we made our way back to Edgars where I again explained the problem, and told them that we had been told to request a new card. The lady confirmed that the card had up to date FICA, but told us that the system would not allow a new card to be issued. So what now, Edgars? I have now wasted a fair amount of time trying to get this issue resolved. Why should I not just pay off this account and close it? 2) I'm also pretty annoyed about a call I received on 25 April threatening me with blocking my account if I didn't confirm my info. Is this really how you think customers should be treated? I have a recording of this call.
