My account at Edgars is currently R0.00, and I have a credit limit of R16, 000.00
To day my wife tried to make a small purchase using her card (linked to my card ) - sale declined due to her card being blocked. The sales assistant said the card was blocked to protect us from because our credit was so high (??? - what kind of logic is this? - credit is set my Edgars, not customer)
At enquiries counter was told that second card has not been validated against account - I distinctly remember having to make a second visit to this store to complete documentation for this card some time ago and my wife has used this card on previous occasions without problems. Got tired of waiting at the enquieries counter to get this problem resolved so will rather cancel my account of 40 years and pay cash in future if we decide to purchase from Edgars.
