My husband was in an accident more than a month ago, the driver who is insured with Auto & General did not stop. His insurance is dragging their feet and said it can take up to 30 days to investigate, It is now over, and still no word if you phone you get an answer that it is with the supervisors and they will contact you, also said they do not have the rent a car option or supply one, thus I had to rent a vehicle. We have sent numerous e-mails they just did not reply or even acknowledge. I have also contacted Wendy Knowler today out of desperation. I had a perfectly drivable and beautiful car and due to negligence and poor driving and an insurance company that took no action to date, I am stuck with renting a small vehicle and it's costing a small fortune. There are no or little automated messages and contacting Auto & General has consultants that can not help with assistance on the phone and that is after you hold for so long and pay for your airtime to be wasted.

and after making a fire under them they phone back and tell us they will only pay R6000 towards us and take our car. How I this working out?
