I ordered from Woolies on Sunday and was lucky enough to get a Monday delivery slot. I ordered online as I wanted the items to still be fresh for the December 25th braai. However, to my shock, Woolies botched the delivery. Items indicated as not available were delivered and items that were indicated as available were not delivered. Less than half of the items were available, the rest were not available. Why have an online ordering system that cannot keep track of what is available and what is not? As a consequence, they have utterly ruined what was supposed to be a great party for my mother. Had they called me and told me that none of the things were available, I would have at least gone on my own and sourced it from others. It seems that in the push to get as many customers serviced, short cuts were taken and this resulted in shoddy service. Consequently, I paid for things I did not get and my view is that the order is not complete and they need to come and collect their entire. This is despicable.
