Having suffered the Woolworths online experience, I will ensure that I never shop at Woolworths again.
I have placed two orders online with WW over the past 10 days - the first order, for baby clothing, arrived two days late, with no notice as to when the revised delivery date would be.
The second order I placed, for our entire Christmas shop, in excess of R3, 500, arrived late on the day - today, and did not include any "clothing items" (we had ordered approximately R1500 worth of Christmas decorations, and they are apparently classed as clothing), further to which, only half, if that, of the food items were delivered.
The delivery man was unable to give us an invoice, assuring us, that he was not given one himself, and so we had to resort to sending the few items we were sent, back to the store.
I was informed this morning, on my 4th phone call to Woolworths online, that "I was one of the lucky ones, some people had been waiting for their order for two weeks or more".
Woolworths, you have lost a loyal customer, and I will endeavour to convince all who I know not to utilise your online facilities, which are appalling.
