I went to do christmas shopping and unfortunately a Glade room freshener fell out from the holder while at the store. I did see the cuplike thing lying on the floor when the cleaners were mopping on my till but didn't think anything of it. When i got home, i realised that the container was empty (the freshener fell out). The store was not useful at all when i went back to ask if the freshener was picked up but instead was told to go home and double check if i didn't leave it at home. I tried to explain that i checked and that in fact, i had seen what might be the freshener at the till but at the time didn't realise what it was to no avail.
I went back today and still no luck. I have always had decent service here but will assume its the festive rush but having just spent R2000 on groceries and being dismissed for an item that was R24 odd, it leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth. What annoys me is that the effort it takes for me to stand in a queue when no one is helping is a waste of time. Its not a lot of money but its the principle that matters. They refuse to look at the footage even!
