NWJ has not refunded me and four days have gone by already

I have purchases a bracelet on the 12/12/13 with my debit card from NWJ as a gift. I decided to return the gift as I have found something else that I want. I returned the bracelet on the 16/12/13 in which they have said that the transaction will take 3 days to reflect in my account. I did not count the 16th as it was a public holiday but now its the 20th of December and I have still not received my refund. I have spoken to them and they say that it shows in their account that it has been refunded and there's a problem with my bank. I have went to my bank and they said that NWJ needs to trace where the money is as they have no indication on their system that there is a refund. I am frustrated with this issue as its four days gone by and I have not been refunded!
