Woodford Car Hire
NO REFUND!!!

I hired a car from Woodford Car Hire and I was told that my deposit would be refunded after 3 working days upon the return of the hired car.

To my shock! The money was not refunded after 3 days. I called them on day 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8! No success! Finally I spoke to Ahmed whose explanation was: Oh, there was an error on the fax sent to the Bank to action your refund... THIS CANNOT BE TRUE! After many many many phone calls of insisting on getting my Refund, he then said: Oh I have actioned your Refund with the Bank and the money would reflect in your Bank Account in another 3 days OR SO... WHATTT?!

My questions are?

1. Why did Woodford not REFUND me within 3 days as they said?
2. When I 1st called to follow up on my Refund, why did they not Refund me even then?
3. I called them today to complain prefusely and requested them to action that Refund to reflect in my Bank Account immediately and still THEY DID NOT! Why?

If I don't have my Refund by today, I am heading to the South African Authorities for help, Consumer Commissioner, Small Claims Court, SA Police to open a case, Attorney. I have been greatly disorganised by this, spent so much on telephone costs. Someone's got to help me!
