Once again, Rafi's Appliances and Mattresses in Port Elizabeth have impressed me with their commitment to excellent customer service.
I walked into their shop yesterday to buy a television set, armed with prices from other stores in Port Elizabeth. There was no hesitation from Rafi to match the other store's price for the same set. That is just good marketing and many stores will do this!
But this is what impressed me!
I opened an advertising catalogue when I got home last night and I saw the same television set advertised at a price 17% below what I had just paid.
I phoned Rafi's this morning to enquire about bringing the television back for a refund and told them why.
Kyle told me that he would make some enquiries with the supplier and come back to me.
I got a call back informing me that I would be credited with the difference (R 600 in this case) to match the lower price.
